Crazy Dog stamps, a Christmas card

Hi
I have started my Christmas cards,  and will share some with you soon, but this card is a version of a birthday card I made a few weeks ago,  and I am very pleased with it so decided to see how it would look as a Christmas card.

I stamped four different dogs then coloured them with Promarkers.
I die cut them out before glueing them onto craft card, then onto a toning patterned card and then onto a card blank.

I cut the hats from red card and used fluffy stuff (by Woodware) to embellish them, before placing them on the dogs.

I plan to duplicate this a few times so that I can send it to my dog loving friends.

All for now

Crazy Dog stamps by Tim Holtz, another birthday card for you

Hello

Just a short post today, to show you a card using these stamps.

I made it in exactly the same way as my previous post, with the exception of the background.

I made this with Brusho crystals which I  had diluted and made into a spray which I spritzed onto the card.

Hope you like these

Another card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps

Hi

When I have new stamps I can't stop 'playing', so here is my next card using these brilliant stamps.

The background was made by sprinkling red and yellow Brusho crystals onto card, then spritzing with water.

I cut out a portion of the background using the Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies by Sizzix, and backed it with red card.

I stamped, fussy cut and coloured the dogs with Promarkers and added them to the card with foam pads.

I finished by adding hats which were stamped using  Tim's crazy things stamps.

I made the sentiment with my computer.

I am very pleased with this,  hope you like it

Good luck card with Crazy Dogs stamps

Hello

Our granddaughter starts a new school in a few weeks, so here is a card I made for her using the crazy dog stamps from Stampers Anonymous  (Tim Holtz)

I kept the background fairly plain, using grey patterned card from my stash.  Embellishing it with washing tape and a stamped sentiment.

I stamped the dog, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut it out, them added it to the card with foam pads.

The mortar board hat was from another Stampers Anonymous set for Tim Holtz - Crazy things - hope you like it.

Crazy Dog stamped card

Hi

I used the Crazy dog stamps again for this card with subtle shades of grey and blue.

I stamped the dog, then cut him (I think it is a him!) out before colouring him with Promarkers .
The patterned paper is from my stash,  and the die was a Sizzex die from the Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies.
I created the sentiment on my computer and added a curly paperclip to complete the card.

Hope you like it

Crazy Dogs stamps. A birthday card using the new Stampers Anonymous stamps

Hello

I have been playing with these new stamps.  They are a delight to use, not only because I enjoy colouring, but each dog has a unique crazy character .
This is the card I made:

The dogs were coloured with Promarkers,  then matted onto dotty paper, then a plain mat, before adding a simple sentiment

Hope you like this

I am sure I will have many more to show you soon.

Sizzix/Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies caught in crystal

Hello again

I experimented with the caught in crystal technique recently, and this is the result

I used liquid floor polish instead of crystal lacquer (which Sue Wilson uses).
After coating an acetate sheet with the Polish,  I sprinkled grey glitter into it, then added Brusho crystals before embedding tissue into this and letting it dry overnight.

Making the card was quite simple, by using Tim's media dies to cut out the overlay, then shading the outer edges with a toning distress ink.

I assembled the card using foam squares for dimension,  adding a bow and beads and a 'Happy Birthday' phrase which consists of several layers of die cuts and finished with a coating of glossy accents.
Great

Sewing themed birthday card

Good day

It will be my friend's birthday soon.  She is a very crafty lady who makes her own cards and sews her own clothes, as well as making clothes for others.

This is the birthday card I made for her:

I used craft card for a base, stamped a pattern with distress ink, then layered hessian and complimentary coloured card.  I stamped a mannequin, then cut it out and inked the edges before adhering to the card.  Topped this with a birthday sentiment , some buttons and trimmed it with lace.

I am pleased, hope my friend likes it too.
