Hi
With only a few days left before the 'Big Day' I have made, and sent, all my Christmas cards.
So now I wanted to show you a New Year card which I will be sending to a special person for 2018.
I stamped the Crazy Dog and Bird - using my Stampers Annonymous stamps, then cut them out with the matching Sizzix dies (all designed by Tim Holtz). I used Promarkers to add colour then highlighted certain areas with Glossy Accents.
The glasses were die cut using a Sizzix Rainy Day die which I backed with acetate for the lens.
I added the animals to the card front with foam pads, then finished with die cut balloons and a sentiment.
Hope you like this.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year

Mirror stamping with my Visible Image stamp set
Hello
If you have seen my last two posts you will see I have used my new stamp set from Visible Image.
I began thinking that the main stamp would lend itself to mirror stamping, giving a totally different card.
So using the method for mirror stamping that I explained in this post Mirror Stamping :
here is the card I made.
I simply stamped (and mirror stamped) in black Versafine ink then used clear masking liquid to cover the whites of the eyes.
I used diluted Brusho inks for the background - allowing the inks to drip down the sheet. Once dry I gently rubbed off the masking fluid to reveal the whites of the eyes and coloured both iris with Promarkers. It needed a little more colour so I used distress inks to add extra colour around the edges.
The sentiment is by Tim Holtz (for Stampers Anonymous) and the die cut is also by Tim Holtz (for Sizzix).
After adding a mat and a card base I finished with a few clear sequins. Honestly, I am nor certain I have the colours right, but I am happy with the effect of the stamping. Why don't you give this a try?

Visible Image Birtday card with Tim Holtz mixed media dies
Hi
I have been playing with my new stamp set (see previous post) and here are two cards I created.
Firstly I stamped, and heat embossed the eye.
I put a wash of water onto the card then sprinkled a little Brusho paint onto this, and blotted a little.
When dry I gently rubbed off the colourless masking fluid to reveal the white eye, then I coloured the iris with Promarkers.
I used a Sizzix die (Tim Holtz Mixed Media) to cut certain parts from the background and glued this onto a black mat, then onto a card base.
The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.
.
Hope you like this, thank you for visiting

Visible Image card
Hello
I recently treated myself to a set of stamps from Visible Image called 'Where dreams take you'. And this is the card I made with this set.
I stamped the image and heat embossed it, then masked the eye area with colourless masking fluid (Winsor and Newton).
I created the background with diluted Brusho inks which I blew with a straw giving the effect shown.
When everything was dry I gently rubbed off the masking fluid which revealed a nice clean white area.
After adding a sentiment from the set, I added a black mat and put this onto my card blank.
A little different for me, but I am pleased with it.
Hope you like it, thank you for visiting

Clean and simple Snowflake Christmas Card
Hello
Today I am sharing a Christmas card I made recently. It is easy to replicate so ideal for batch making.
Today I am sharing a Christmas card I made recently. It is easy to replicate so ideal for batch making.
I started by stamping a few snowflakes, in grey, directly onto my square card blank.
Then I cut four different snowflakes in white card and glued these onto the card as you can see.
I finished with a sentiment produced on my computer and a single gem.
Hope you like this, thank you for visiting.

Christmas card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps and dies
Hello there
Today's card showcases Sizzix dies and Stampers Annonymous stamps
I created the background by spritzing with a pewter ink spray. I cut into this with a Tim Holtz Multi Media die and glued these layers to my card blank.
The dog, bones, lead and presents are from the Crazy Dog and Crazy Accessories sets (dies by Sizzix and stamps by Stampers Annonymous ). The trees are from my collection of dies.
I kept the colours cool, and am pleased with the result. Hope you like this. Thank you for visiting

Christmas card - dancing robins
Hi
Today I would like to show you a Christmas card I made using a Little Claire stamp as a focal point.
This card was very straightforward to make. I simply stamped and coloured the image with Promarkers before cutting it out with a rectangular die.
I backed the image onto gingham card from Anne Marie Designs, and added a ribbon and snowflake to one corner and a die cut sentiment to the bottom.
Hope you like it.

Spellbinders Make mine lemon lime die, part 2
Hi
I would like to show you the second card I made using these great dies.
I would like to show you the second card I made using these great dies.
As you can see I chose to use the dies as limes this time because I had found this quote which I wanted to use.
I altered one leaf so it looks like lips (I hope you think so too) to emphasise the 'smile' of the quote.
I am very happy with the result, hope you like it

Spellbinders Make mine lemon lime die
Hello
I was lucky enough to win this lovely die (Spellbinders - Make mine Lemon Lime) when I left a comment on Christine Emberson's blog - Creativity Continues.
Christine is a very talented lady who is an ambassador for Spellbinders.
I was really excited to receive it and this is a card I made with the die set..
The black polka dot paper in the background really make the die cuts stand out.
However, I do wonder if I should have sat the central black mat onto a narrow white mat??. Perhaps I will try this next time as I have more ideas for this die set - watch this space

BOO! - Halloween card
Hello all
I wanted to use my new spider's web die again, so came up with this version of a Halloween card.
I decided not to use the usual halloween colours of black with orange, so instead used red and black which looks quite creepy - don't you think? I am pleased with the result.
Thank you for visiting
Take care

Christmas card with jolly snowmen
Hello
I wanted to keep all colours on this card almost monochrome.
I stamped the central image then masked it off and stamped it again on either side.
I coloured the image with muted shades of Promarkers , added a monochrome border and silver die cut.
I am really pleased with the result, hope you are too.

Altenew Adore you stamps
Hello
I love the new Altenew Adore you stamps, here is a card I made using them.
I stamped the flowers onto watercolour card and coloured them with distress inks which I mixed with water to give a muted effect.
I outlined the image with a grey watercolour pencil, then blended this with a water brush to give a subtle effect. I finished with a few speckles of grey paint , black dots, and a sentiment printed with my Brother hand held labeller together with a small sliver of striped card.
Than you for visiting

The background was created by spritzing with solutions of Brusho in yellow and red.
Yhe dog was stamped, then coloured with Promarkers, then cut out and placed on the background with the spider web and spider.
I cut a frame in black then sat a pumpkin and brush on top.

A winter scene using Tim Holtz Tree line die
Hi
I do not have a stamp of a group of Christmas trees so I made my own stamp by cutting funky foam with the tree line die by Tim Holtz, then I glued this onto a wooden block.
I stamped my tree-line stamp once or twice using muted colours then added a banner onto which I stamped my sentiment. I stamped a snowflake and added several clear sequins before adding it to my card base with a contrasting mat at top and bottom.
Hope you like this, thank you for visiting.

A Christmas card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps
Hi
I have made a start on my Christmas cards, as I know many of you will have also done.
I chose to use a Crazy Dog stamp by Tim Holtz, for Stampers Annonymous .
I stamped the dog then cut it out with it's matching Sizzix die, then mirror stamped the same image before cutting it out by hand.
I coloured the dogs with Promarkers , added glossy accents to their eyes and tongues and a gem for their collars.
I spritzed some card in grey ink and sat this behind a white card from which I had cut a circle. The dogs were placed as shown then glued into place.
I added a snowflake and stamped sentiment.
I will show you more Christmas cards soon

Birthday card with die cut robots
I have recently bought some robot dies and couldn't wait to use them - this is the card I made:
I used a cream card base and simply cut out six robots from some shimmery white card from my stash and glued them in place.
Then I cut one robot in back card and added it to the front with three little black die cut cogs.
I finished with a greeting which I printed with my hand held Brother labeller.
This is quite a simple card, and easy to replicate, yet effective I think, hope you agree.

'Hello' A card for a friend
Hi
Today I would like to share a card I made for a friend who recently moved home. My friend and her husband had lived next to us for 30 years, so it was sad when they moved, yet it was exciting for them.
I used some little layering stamps all over the card front, then added a veil of velum over the top onto which I glued the sentiment which was cut from some dark grey mirror card. It's good to keep in touch.
Hope you like it

Birthday card using Tim Holtz' Crazy Dog stamps and dies
Hi, today's card would be suitable for a man, or a woman who likes subtle shades.
I kept the colours muted in all shades of grey, then stamped the sentiment in black, and added a Crazy Dog (also coloured in grey Promarkers) peeping through the centre aperture. Very simple and easy to reproduce.

Crazy Dog. Just dropping by to say Happy birthday
Hello.
Today I would like to share a card using the Crazy Dog stamps and dies by Tim Holtz.
I found a suitable background paper in my stash and just stamped around the edge in a random pattern.
The little spider is a small die and I added Glossy Accents to the body.
I printed the sentiment on my small hand-held Brother lable printer, then stuck this onto black card before adding to the card.

Crazy Dog birthday card in silver
Hi
Today I would like to show you another card using Tim Holtz's Crazy Dog stamps and dies. For a change I stamped the dog onto a matt silver card using Versamark ink, then sprinkled with silver embossing powder before using a heat gun to set the embossing.

A Father's day card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps and dies
Hi
Just a quick post today to show you this Father's day card.
I stamped the dog onto corrugated card, then cut it with it's die and coloured with distress inks.
The die set also has dies to cut out the dog's eyes, nose and collar, so I cut these from plain card, glued them into place before colouring with Promarkers and adding glossy accents.
I hope this gives you another way to use the stamps and dies

Crazy Bird Happy Anniversary card
Hello
Today I would like to share an anniversary card which I recently made for friends
I found some paper in my stash that was ideal for the background. After matting it onto a card blank I simply cut a white frame, stamped a sentiment on it then positioned it onto the card with foam pads.
Then I used a Tim Holtz Crazy Bird stamp from Stampers Anonymous, cut it out with it's matching Sizzix die and coloured it with Promarkers.
I placed the bird as if he/she was looking through the frame, then added a hat (also from Stamped a Anonymous Crazy Accessories set)
I finished by stamping the hearts, from the Crazy Accessories set, coloured them with Promarkers, and applied Glossy Accents to make them stand out.
Hope you like this, thank you for visiting

Bright card using Tim Holtz mixed media die from Sizzix
Hello
I began this card several weeks ago but had put it to one side until I could decide how to finish it.
I am quite pleased with the result.
The background card was made by dissolving Brusho crystals in water and spraying onto white card - I used red and yellow.
I cut into the card using the Sizzix mixed media die by Tim Holtz, then sat it onto a black mat.
Once embellished with flowers , leaves and a sentiment I added a couple of orange stones.
Hope you like this

Hi, here is a card that is very different to any I have made before.
This is a card I made for my grandson's birthday.

Very different for me, hope you like it

Crazy Dog birthday card
Hi, I was really happy this card turned out so well. It began with some scrap paper from my stash and just evolved into this super cute card - I hope you agree.
The dog stamp is one of Tim Holtz's Crazy Dogs by Stampers Anonymous, which I cut out with it's matching Sizzix die. I had to cut around the dog's front legs so he would appear to be standing through the black frame.
I finished with a couple of sequins and a wrapped present from Tim's Crazy Accessories stamp, also by Stampers Anonymous- which I had to fussy cut as I do not have the matching Sizzix die.
Hope you like this

Crazy Birds, a card which is ideal for a man
Hello
This card was created with a single stamp.
After stamping the first image I covered it with an image cut from a post-it note, then stamped a second image _ slightly overlapping the first.
Then just repeated this twice more giving a line of birds.
I chose not to colour the main body of the birds, just added bowler hats (from the Stampers Anonymus crazy accessories stamps and coloured these in with Promarkers which matched the matted layer .
I think this would be ideal for a man. Hope you like it.

Tim Holtz Crazy Brd with Sizzix Rainy Day dies
Hi
I had to have these dies by Sizzix because I had been looking for an umbrella die that was not too fancy, and these fit the bill.
Also thought they would go well with the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds and Dogs as they have the right proportions.

Crazy Birds - Mirror stamping - happy birthday

I have seen many cards with these Crazy Dogs (indeed I have made one or two) where a dog appears through an aperture, so I wanted to try making an aperture with Tim's Sizzix Multi Media dies, through which a dog would peep, and this is the result. I did have to snip a little so the dog would look through.
I am pleased with it, hope you like it, thank you for visiting.

Clean and simple card for many occassions
Hi
Today I have a clean and simple card which I have entered into the Freshly Made Sketches weekly challenge.
The stamp is made by Chocolate Baroque and after stamping in grey, I coloured it with Promarkers (my markers of choice).
I stamped it twice and fussy cut a flower bud from one image, glued it onto a small circle before adding glossy accents to the flower bud and adding it to the card.
A simple sentiment in grey completed the card together with a few clear sequins.

Bright card combining the Crazy Dog and Mixed Media dies
Hi
I kept this card quite simple, just using two dies from Sizzix designed by Tim Holtz: the splat from Tim's Mixed Media dies and a Crazy dog which I coloured with Promarkers then accented with Glossy Accents.
I cut the sentiment out twice, once in black then in a multi coloured card (which I created with Promarkers) then glued them on top of each other, then to the card, before coating with Glossy Accents.
I drew the border freehand then coloured in matching colours.
All for now

Crazy Dogs by Tim Holtz- Mirror image
Hi
As you may have seen, I have found a way to produce a mirror image of these stamps quite easily.
So it seemed appropriate to make a card using a dog looking at himself/herself in a mirror

Tim Holtz crazy dogs stamps and dies
Hello
I found a random piece of card in my stash that I wanted to use. So I used it to stamp a crazy dog onto (with Stampers Anonymous crazy dog stamps), then cut it out with the matching Sizzix die- I finished with a sentiment from Tattered Lace. I think the dog looks like a dalmatian, do you?
This card was very easy to make, the hardest thing was selecting the best colour to contrast with the black and white patterned papers.
Hope you like it

Valentine/Anniversary card using Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies by Sizzix
Hi
Today I want to share a card I made for my husband for our anniversary which is in a few days. It could easily be a valentine card.
I kept the design quite simple, just letting the dies do all the work.
The dies were all Tim Holtz Sizzix dies.

Crazy Dogs, birthday card with a mirror stamped technique
Hello
Today I have another card to show you - where I used one of the Crazy Dog stamps by Tim Holtz.
I created this by stamping an image, then reversing the stamp to give a mirror image.
Today I have another card to show you - where I used one of the Crazy Dog stamps by Tim Holtz.
I created this by stamping an image, then reversing the stamp to give a mirror image.
I think this technique will extend the versatility of these lovely stamps.
I simply inked up the stamp, ran a brayer roller across it (which picked up the ink), then ran the brayer across my paper giving a reversed image. Then I stamped the image next to it.
After several attempts at this I found it easier to brayer the mirror image first then it was easy to stamp in the right place for the second image.
The sentiment was produced on my printer.
I really will have to make an effort to make my next card using something different! I love these stamps and dies.

A Valentine Card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps
Hello everyone
Today I used Tim's stamps, by Stampers Anoymous, to make a valentine card.
I wanted to have two dogs facing each other, and rather than use two different dogs, from the crazy dog set of stamps, I wanted to try to use one stamp and stamp a mirror image using the same stamp.
It took me a couple of attempts before I was happy with the result, what do you think?
I am happy with it, and it makes an ideal subject for this valentine card. I hope you like it

Crazy Dog birthday card
Hello, and a Happy New Year, I hope you had a good one.
Today's card is a birthday card I made for a dear friend.
I stamped the central image, then masked it off before stamping the other dogs.
I decided to colour in the one central image only, adhered this onto a spotted brown mat with a scalloped brown edge, then added several clear sequins .
I finished it with an organza ribbon.
Hope you like it
