Hello
Today I would like to share with you a card which I made for my friend's 50th birthday.
I used I die (champagne glass) which recently came with a magazine, and a new Spellbinder's die in their Amazing Paper Grace range -called Cascading Grace designed by Becca Feeken. You should check out her blog - it is amazing.
Well I am quite pleased with the card, but feel I should have reigned myself in, and not put on so many embellishments!!
However I am pleased with the champagne glasses which I cut from acetate, coloured the stems with a silver Promarker, then coated the back with glitter glue so that it looked like a bubbly drink.
I completed with flowers and jewels.
Hope you like it

Any one for tea?
Hi
One of my prizes (see my previous post) was a stamp set by Taylored Expressions which came with a matching die.
After stamping the stacking teacups I coloured them with Promarkers keeping the shades in one colour to match the background paper.

After cutting out the stamped image, with it's matching stamp, I raised it on foam pads then coated it with glossy accents.
The sentiment is from the stamp set, and the decorative dies are from my Sizzix and Spellbinders collection.

New baby card
Hello
I am lucky to have been chosen as a runner-up up in the Card Designer of the year (2015 ) run by Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine.
My prize was a box of craft goodies, which was a lovely surprise. So in this post I will share a card I made with some of these goodies.

The rocking horse die is beautiful, and will be very useful.
After I had cut it out I inked through the die with distress ink to give the detail.
I made a balloon stamp by cutting craft foam with a balloon die, then using this as a stamp. So I stamped the balloon onto shrink plastic then cut it out and heated to shrink it.
The scalloped border was actually two or three flowers which were cut apart and stuck to the bottom of the patterned paper.
I finished with a sentiment which I printed with my computer

Clean and Simple - a Valentine card
Hi there
Today I would like to share with you an anniversary card I made for a couple of close friends, but changing the sentiment would give a great, easy, valentine card.
I have kept it simple for a change , and I am very pleased with it.
Today I would like to share with you an anniversary card I made for a couple of close friends, but changing the sentiment would give a great, easy, valentine card.
I have kept it simple for a change , and I am very pleased with it.
Before I ran the front panel through my Big Shot, with an ebossing folder, I stamped the black splats and sentiment .
Then I dusted the edges with antique linen distress ink.
The sentiment is made up from two different stamps, I simply masked the unwanted areas of each stamp before inking them, then removed the mask before stamping.
I hand-cut the heart then flooded it with glossy accents into which I put a red crystal, then tied a matching red ribbon across the top.
This is quite plain for me, but I am very pleased with it.

Cards with a spritzed background and stamping using JOFY stamps
Hi
Today I want to share two cards which I made using my new JOFY stamps from
PaperArtistry.
Today I want to share two cards which I made using my new JOFY stamps from
PaperArtistry.
I made backgrounds by simply spritzing with a solution of Brusho paints.
To make the spritzing solution I dissolved a quarter of teaspoon of Brusho crystals in water, then put the solution into a small spray bottle. This picture shows the spritzer and their effects:-
Next I stamped several images with my JOFY stamps , and coloured them with Promarkers, then added an extra flower for dimension.

A cute card for a friend who needed cheering up
My friend recently had surgery on her knee so I made this card to cheer her up:-
I am really pleased with it, and it did make her laugh.
I created the background with Brusho paints, and attached the crazy bird with a spring so it would wobble about.
The sentiment was printed on my computer, and the clear gems were originally beads which I melted in the oven, voila!
Cheers

Pretty girly birthday card using JOFY and Crazy Bird stamps
Hi
Having just treated myself to some JOFY stamps from Paper Artistry I had to try them out, so as a friend has a birthday next week I made this card:-

The background was created with distress inks then spritzed with water to give a soft effect.
I stamped and coloured the images with Promarkers, then added dimension with another flower which I cut out and sat on top of the stamped flower.
I am happy with this, it is a little quirky, but sweet - hope my friend likes it.

A valentine card
Hi everyone, and I wish you
a very happy and healthy new year.
I have started to think about Valentine's day because I have several cards to make.
This card is my first attempt and I am very pleased with it.
My card base is 5 by 7 inches cream coloured.
The central panel (which I have attached at an angle) was created by stamping with a script stamp, then over stamping with an Indigoblu rose stamp.
I distressed the edges and attached it to a brown mat.
I finished with some raffia and vintage lace with a simple tag.
Hope you like this.
