Crazy Dog birthday card

Hi, I was really happy this card turned out so well.  It began with some scrap paper from my stash and just evolved into this super cute card - I hope you agree.

The dog stamp is one of Tim Holtz's Crazy Dogs by Stampers Anonymous, which I cut out with it's matching Sizzix die.  I had to cut around the dog's front legs so he would appear to be standing through the black frame.

I finished with a couple of sequins and a wrapped present from Tim's Crazy Accessories stamp, also by Stampers Anonymous- which I had to fussy cut as I do not have the matching Sizzix die.

Hope you like this

Come back soon

Crazy Birds, happy birthday card

Hi
Many months ago I made a similar card to this, only using the Crazy Dog stamps by Tim Holtz.   This time around I made a version using the Crazy Bird stamps, again by Tim Holtz .

I kept the colours muted and I quite like this version.  Do You?

Thank you for visiting, come back soon.

Crazy Birds, a card which is ideal for a man

Hello

This card was created with a single stamp.

After stamping the first image I covered it with an image cut from a post-it note, then stamped a second image _ slightly overlapping the first.

Then just repeated this twice more giving a line of birds.

I chose not to colour the main body of the birds, just added  bowler hats (from the Stampers Anonymus crazy accessories stamps and coloured these in with Promarkers which matched the matted layer .

I think this would be ideal for a man. Hope you like it.

Tim Holtz Crazy Brd with Sizzix Rainy Day dies

Hi

I had to have these dies by Sizzix  because I had been looking for an umbrella die that was not too fancy, and these fit the bill.

Also thought they would go well with the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds and Dogs  as they have the right proportions.

Using both sets of dies gives me many more options for my card making.  There are quite a few dies in this set and I will be showing more very soon.

Hope you like this, all for now

My entry in this week's Freshly Made Sketches weekly challenge

This is the card I have submitted for this week's challenge on The Freshly Made Sketches blog.

This is the sketch we have to follow:

I have kept it very clean and simple following the sketch provided by Cecile.

This blog s well worth a visit, it certainly gives me inspiration.

All for now

Crazy Birds - Mirror stamping - happy birthday

Hello

Here is another example of a card where I have used a mirror stamping technique to produce the same image facing in two different directions.

I stamped in a shade of grey then coloured in subtle shades of light brown.

The glasses were cut with a die from Sizzix - Rainy days, then I flooded the 'lens' with glossy accents so that it looked like glass

The sentiment is a Tattered lace die.

Hope you like this, all for now
